Happy New Year




The New Year is just hours away. Didn’t 2009 go by just a little too fast? I’m excited! How do you celebrate? How do you incorporate food into this important holiday? Pigs in a blanket and Welch’s Sparkling Grape Juice are on the menu tonight in my home.
Wrap each hot dog inside of flattened biscuit dough, heat in oven for 20 minutes. Cheese is optional. Enjoy.

Hello!

Hi, I'm Stacy! Welcome to my food blog. Enjoying a great meal and good company is pretty much all I need to keep me content. Although I love eating, I'm really not that savvy of a cook. Dinners at home are usually limited to baked chicken, spaghetti, anything boxed, and so on. I won't even discuss the variety of seasonings that are usually overlooked. In a nutshell, my food is boring and lifeless.
I have promised myself for much of the year that I'd start a blog; along with a list of other things. I was perusing through my file cabinet earlier and found tons of recipes that I've clipped from magazines from the past five years. I've only used about five of them so far. In the spirit of beating the procrastination demon, I've decided to go for it. I'm no Rachel Ray or Martha Stewart-a.k.a. expert, but I am a lover of food and you probably are too! Sooo, hopefully you'll be inspired and enjoy Cooking With Stacy.
